Summary
Hello my name is Stanley Janoski III. I am an environmental artist and game designer with a Bachelors of Fine Arts in Game Design from The Art Institude of Houson. I also have a
Game Design Artist Degree from LSC Kingwood and an entrepreneur and marketing certificate from LSC North Harris. I speak fluent English and Portuguese. I can also speak Spanish and Japanese. Although I am a game developer of many talents, I'm mostly drawn to doing artist work. As a hobby, I make content for VR, my own games in Unity 3D, and do story writing. I have teaching experience and experience working with teams. I am a Global Game Jam veteran. I also have a work ethic for treating others as I would myself. I understanding the business of game design, how to manage game development, and I make use of the notion to work smart, play hard.
When designing environmental assets for games, I am familiar with grey boxing/ black boxing or pre-visualizations of assets. I know to work quick with the most effective tools and pipelines that focuses on quality and speed. I know to work fast, fail fast, and iterate to ensure the best quality of an asset or product. When making 3d assets I understand the value the importance of production feedback and criticism; value the testing of an asset inside a game engine to maximize quality, aesthetic, and functionality; and value the importance of pixel density and aesthetic design synchronicity for level design quality; and how it could overall effect game narrative, mood, and design.
